To him, this was probably one of the most personal illustrations he ever did. The subject matter had a lot to do with his personal life at the moment, and he executed it more in the manner of a painting than an illustration, anyway. "I was so glad that it was never used," he asserts, "it was way too personal for me to be commercialized. It would have broken my heart if it did."
