Although as an artist Koorosh Angali's first occupation is that of a painter, he is active in many other art, literature, and scholarly fields, including commercial illustration, graphic design and art direction, mural painting, photography, music, stage acting, and poetry. He has also published articles and delivered speeches in the field of Iranian Studies, in which field he holds an MA and a PhD, from UC Berkeley. In addition, he is a translator of books and articles from English to Persian and vice versa. Moreover, he is a published poet (see details about this under Literature).
