From 1990 to 1995 the Northern California Iranian Yellow Pages used illustrations rendered by Koorosh Angali for their covers. He called this part of his work "the Persephone Phase," humorously constructing a pun, combining the prefix "perse-" (part of Persepolis) and "phone." The combination ended up in sounding like the name of the Greek goddess of the underworld, Persephone, the daughter of Zeus and the harvest goddess Demeter.
